Rewatching Star Trek: Enterprise and honestly… I forgot how much I actually liked this series. It had such a different vibe from the other Trek shows. Watching humanity figure things out before the Federation existed was kinda fascinating.

Instead of “Instants,” maybe Instagram should try being Instagram again. You know… photographs.

Instagram really looked at BeReal, Snapchat, Locket, Threads, Notes, Stories, Close Friends, disappearing DMs… and said “what if we made another app?” 😂 I get the concept of quick, casual, unfiltered sharing with friends. Fine. Cool. But why does this need to be both inside Instagram and a separate app at the same time? Because right now it feels weirdly half-integrated.

Rewatching Contact tonight. Still my favorite movie of all time. And that opening sequence… wow. The slow pullback from Earth out into the universe while all the radio broadcasts fade away still gives me chills. One of the most beautiful and haunting openings ever made in sci-fi. The music, the atmosphere, the message about humanity and exploration, this movie just hits different for me every single time. And Jodie Foster is incredible in it.
